The Business.

WTW鈥檚 Summer Internship Program serves as the primary pipeline into our full-time and is designed for university-level students primarily one year away from achieving their bachelor鈥檚 degree.

The Summer Internship Program is an 8-week learning experience designed for students to gain an understanding of the ever-evolving risk landscape. The internship provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with world-class clients and colleagues in the insurance industry. The program provides the opportunity for interns to work alongside senior leadership and add value to client-facing exposures from accounts in the Fortune 500 sector to small local business areas. In addition to core program components, interns are aligned to a specialized business area that will begin to build a technical foundation of knowledge and provide exposure to our clients through meaningful work assignments and projects. The internship program aims to create a collaborative community that contributes to our business through various projects, speaker series, structured training, case studies, networking events, and more. The program is comprised of a structured orientation, goal setting, mentorship, I&D initiatives, group presentations, and a formal performance review process.

GSS Placement Overview

Global Solutions & Services (GSS) is an international group that wears many hats. The primary focus

is Service and Broking, but Consulting is also a key offering in advising our Global Clients across

all lines of business, not just International Casualty. The 鈥淎BCs鈥� of GSS start with Strategic Advisory on all things global impacting a client鈥檚 risk programs regardless of line of coverage; broking of the International Casualty and/or International Package programs; and then coordinating and managing our global network to implement the global programs and service the subsidiaries of our global clients around the globe. The GSS team handles and manages WTW鈥檚 network (foreign offices) and acts as the Liaison for all International issues. A role in GSS is suited to individuals who look forward to working in a client facing role, negotiating with insurance companies and are eager to work on several different projects at the same time.

Role Requirements:

• Enrolled in a bachelor鈥檚 degree program with a target graduation date of May 2026


• Business, Risk Management, or Liberal Arts majors鈥�鈥�


• Eligible candidates must be going into their Senior Year in Fall 2025


• Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher


• Exceptional interpersonal skills


• Excellent written & verbal communication skills鈥�


• Excellent presentation skills, analytically driven and detail oriented


• Aptitude to learn and be proactive鈥�


• Proficient in time management鈥�鈥�


• Intermediate to proficient Microsoft Excel user; Power BI experience is a plus鈥�


• Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorship鈥�鈥�


• WTW鈥檚 hybrid working environment allows for flexible working schedules with a mixture of both remote and in office time including global collaboration across teams. During the internship, most colleagues are expected to go into the office 3 times a week 鈥�
