Property insurance: a pledge to pay premiums in return for a piece of paper and a promise, a promise that too often goes unfulfilled. Not a bad look for the insurance industry.

Licensed adjuster are vetted and fingerprinted. BCI checks are preformed. Carriers across Florida, Citizens, private insurers and even FIGA are using TPA non-licensed inspectors. They inspectors and contractors don’t do criminal background checks on their employees.
The state allows this to happen the media does nothing to warn public that the carriers and state could be and are sending a criminal to your home because they don’t want to pay a licensed adjuster.
