Our Middle Market Team provides investment advisory and fiduciary support services to mid-size investment clients.

This is an entry level position with overall responsibility for supporting the Investment Associates and Consultants in maintaining client relationships. The Analyst will have a wide range of responsibilities including performance reporting, invoicing, ongoing investment monitoring and analysis, and communicating with external vendors to obtain information for clients.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in finance or a similar business-related field and will be able to learn quickly and manage their time effectively to support the associates with client deliverables.

The Role


Client Support

  • Gather asset reports from vendors for creating client investment reports
  • Produce client investment reports and meeting presentations with high attention to detail
  • Assist with the client invoicing process on a quarterly basis
  • Maintain organized files and documentation on client information and outstanding tasks in coordination with associates
  • Attend client meetings to dictate meeting notes/minutes as needed
  • Perform ad hoc tasks to help support client relationships
  • Perform client and consultant requests as needed


Consultant Support

  • Maintain standardized materials that can be used across the practice
  • Support associates and consultants in the construction of client presentations
  • Assist with the production of industry benchmarking reports appropriate for clients
  • Support vendor search projects for clients
  • Prepare fee & service benchmarking reports
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the overall practice


Investments

  • Produce investment performance reports for clients
  • Assist with ongoing monitoring and due diligence of investment managers
  • Provide assistance with investment searches for hiring investment managers
  • Complete investment fee benchmarking and share class analyses
  • Assist with target date due diligence reporting and stable value analyses as needed
  • Help associates conduct investment menu structure reviews


This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of being present in the office at least three days each week.

The Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance or related field preferred)
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and coordinate with other team members
  • Strong organization and time management skills required to balance multiple projects and ensure timely completion of client deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contacts
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), and ability to learn new systems and technologies
