What is a Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer?
Arity is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Analytics Infrastructure Engineering team. 听You鈥檒l design, build and maintain backend cloud applications and services that power our data analytics and machine learning infrastructure. 听The role is a part of our robust Analytics organization and requires the ability to design, iterate, learn, and improve. 听You鈥檒l work in a highly collaborative organization alongside cloud engineers, data scientists and data engineers with a high degree of autonomy. 听Expert generalists are encouraged to apply.
What will you do?
鈥⑻� 听Build, automate and deploy backend analytics and ML applications and services in cloud that power Arity鈥檚 data and machine learning infrastructure using a variety of tools.
鈥⑻� 听You鈥檒l set the standard for best practices for cloud infrastructure engineering at Arity Analytics.
鈥⑻� 听You鈥檒l work closely with the Analytics leadership team on key engineering initiatives.
鈥⑻� 听Collaborate heavily with our engineering and product teams to apply DevOps practices to help automate, iterate and scale ML model implementations.
What do you need?
鈥⑻� 听Highly proficient in deploying cloud resources using common Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Cloud Build.
鈥⑻� 听Expertise with proper Git flow. 听It鈥檚 key to our collaboration, along with proper reviews.
鈥⑻� 听You鈥檙e very comfortable with Linux, and can debug, design, and compile with speed.
鈥⑻� 听Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of foundational cloud computing and VPC/networking services for both AWS (EC2, S3, IAM) and GCP (Compute Engines, GCS, IAM)听
鈥⑻� 听Familiarity of analytics and ML cloud services such as EMR, Glue, Athena and SageMaker in AWS and BigQuery, Dataproc, and VertexAI in GCP
鈥⑻� 听Understanding of open source Big Data platform tools and services, such as Apache Spark, Airflow and Python.
