鈥 As a Health and Benefits Intern, you will work beside some of the industry鈥檚 top consultants while you progress toward becoming a thought leader of the future.鈥

鈥痀ou will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise.鈥疘n addition, you will have twice-weekly learning and networking sessions with colleagues and leaders in Health and Benefits and other WTW businesses.

鈥疐or Actuarial track: Accepted applicants will be eligible for a comprehensive exam study program, including paid study hours and exam coaching to assist in attaining the accredited designation of Actuary.鈥

鈥 You will partner with consultants to provide assistance on projects through:鈥


  • Supporting clients with benefit plan analysis, design, cost savings, and benchmarking

  • Analyzing and comparing vendor products, services, and contracts鈥

  • Evaluating responses to surveys and RFPs鈥



About you.




  • Progress towards a Bachelor鈥檚 or Master鈥檚 degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, public health, health management, actuarial science or any other major with significant quantitative course work with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0鈥

  • For Actuarial students: Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams highly preferred鈥

  • Work experience that demonstrates strong technical and/or client service skills (analyst type of internship preferred)鈥




  • Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed the standards of the client鈥

  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment鈥

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills鈥

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel鈥

  • Accepting applications from candidates that graduate with a Bachelor鈥檚 or Master鈥檚 degree between Dec 2024 - June 2026

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation:

The hourly rate being offered for this role is $23 - $30/hr. This role is also eligible for over-time.

    Contributory Pension Plan and Savings Plan (401k). All Level 38 and more senior roles may also be eligible for non-qualified Deferred Compensation and Deferred Savings Plans.
